Can I Add More Evidence After Opening a Dispute?

Yes. If a dispute is already open, you may be able to add more evidence while the dispute is still active.

Because disputes in the Resolution Center can move quickly, it is best to submit all relevant evidence as early as possible. However, if you later find additional information that helps explain the issue, you should upload it before the dispute moves too far along in the process.

When to submit additional evidence

If you need to add more evidence, do so as soon as possible while the dispute is still active.

This may be helpful if:

  • you found new photos, videos, or documents
  • you need to clarify something already submitted
  • the other party submitted information you want to respond to
  • you need to provide context that was missing from your original submission

Why timing matters

Once a dispute is opened, both parties have up to 5 days to communicate, bargain, exchange messages, and submit evidence.

After that, LuxuStars may step in and review the dispute. The review stage may take up to 7 additional days.

Because of this timeline, late submissions may be harder to consider if the dispute is already under final review.

Tips for adding more evidence

If you submit more evidence after opening a dispute, try to:

  • upload it as soon as possible
  • explain clearly what the new evidence shows
  • connect it directly to the booking and the issue
  • avoid sending unrelated or repetitive material
  • keep your explanation factual and organized

Important

If you have important evidence, do not wait until the last moment to submit it.

LuxuStars reviews disputes based on the information available during the dispute process, so timely and relevant submissions can make the review more accurate and efficient.
