Some disputes in the Resolution Center may involve cancellation or refund disagreements between the Guest and the Provider.

These disputes may arise when one party believes a refund should be issued, adjusted, denied, or reviewed based on the circumstances of the reservation.

When cancellation and refund disputes may happen

A dispute related to cancellations and refunds may arise when:

  • the parties disagree about whether a refund applies
  • the amount of the refund is disputed
  • the reservation is affected by a booking issue
  • one party believes an exception should apply
  • the matter could not be resolved directly during the normal communication stage
